peanut butter sammich
Bill Haverchuck, one of my most favorite fictional characters of all time. Actually this scene isn't a funny one at all, I remember distinctly that I was tearing up watching him make a peanut butter sandwich. (Doesn't make any sense I know, but if you've seen it, you would know what I was talking about)
The character reminds me of myself, a lot of people can relate to feeling like you just don't fit in at some point in your childhood. I still cannot understand why the show was so short-lived, it was pure awesome.

Above
Right now I'm thinking about some years ago, when I was an ugly kid with uglier glasses, it broke my heart when I found out that clouds were clusters of steam and not solid, tangible things that birds would hang out on and dead spirits sat on when they died, spying on the living in envy, no, it was a white illusion of liquid disappointment. So even if the clouds are masses of white lies, does anything else stand a chance?
Living in complete bleak truth would murder us.
I know I'm feeding you my pensive crap, just bear with me guys. I do get a little thoughtful sometimes... Maybe a lot of times, but who's counting really?

Le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain
one of my favorite scenes from my favorite movie. I couldn't choose between the scene where she melts onto the floor after not having the courage to talk the guy she's in love with and the scene when she manages to give Mr. Bretodeau's tin box and he reminisces his childhood or when she pranks the vegetable vendor because he was being a dick.
I actually love every scene, the movie is incredible, if you haven't seen it, I recommend you watch it, in french with subs...any other version destroys the charm of the story.

Details that kill, I like that they pieces look so geometrically precise. When dissected and worn with other pieces, the coat with the zipper detail on the back, would look amazing. I would not attempt to wear the entire outfit on this lookbook because I would not be able to pull it off and will end up looking like a mad starwars fan at a sci-fi convention trying to look like a jedi apprentice.
The model looks awesome in it tho. Could totally imagine Kristen McMenamy rocking these looks on the street with her locks silver hair, hope I'm that cool at 40.

lovehearts
For the love of nostalgia. My friend Cathy used to make me rings like these (using metal wires) when we had nothing to do during our IB art classes. Sigh. I miss her big time.

strawberry fields forever
I'm really into short posts nowadays.
Reasons:
1. mysteriously elevated laziness
2. I look more like a coolcat
(makes me look like I'm spending most of my time doing something useful for humanity...which is obviously not the case at present)
3. Overall format looks cool, so that makes me look even more like a coolcat
