So I saw all this twitter buzz on the video and decided to give it a little look, obviously the video didn't disappoint; (Beyoncé never disappoints performance-wise). I LOVED the geometric gold rings (Laruicci, ha I did my research, guys.) she had on at one point in the video and the few McQueen f/w 2010 pieces, also rocking that feathery dream of a Givenchy couture dress AH!. All in all I love this tune, adopting the Majorlazer tune into the song and the feminist message that is so FIERCE it kind of intimidates you and empowers you simultaneously; a refreshing pause from all the sex-related songs on the pop charts.

Ruby Aldridge, how do you do it so well?

 working that dark child-bohemian-fille-du-rock n' roll-look. I've been looking through my photo albums and Ruby Aldridge showed up so frequently that I decided that she deserved a style photo montage, finally. I really do wish it was winter again even though I longed for summer during the winter, I am fickle, it is a typical female feature....sigh. But yes, this winter I shall be visiting more flea markets in search of cheap boots. Splurges should be reduced. (If I can help it, that is)

she's back!....? I wish we saw more of her :( This spread is so lovely though, all in the spirit of summer whites and delicate, airy clothes to take the summer heat. I think this was shot in that abandoned miner's town in Namibia...I kind of want to visit this place
