cutest video ever

MOST adorable video I've seen all year, seriously. I didn't know that Drew Barrymore had such talent! Up and coming actress Chloe Moretz looks all grown up and shit. Very cool. The plot is supposed to be some sort of modern day West Side Story. Gosh love the little story line. This one by far wins for me. Love the track too. DOUBLE WIN

run the world

Beyoncé fierceness at full blast.

 McQueen, check.
going to be shrugging my shoulders to this song in the clubs.
 Givenchy couture, check.

Head over heels in love with these geometric knuckle rings

 work those bleached eyebrows, girl.

Pucci cut-out bodysuit, check.

So I saw all this twitter buzz on the video and decided to give it a little look, obviously the video didn't disappoint; (Beyoncé never disappoints performance-wise). I LOVED the geometric gold rings (Laruicci, ha I did my research, guys.) she had on at one point in the video and the few McQueen f/w 2010 pieces, also rocking that feathery dream of a Givenchy couture dress AH!. All in all I love this tune, adopting the Majorlazer tune into the song and the feminist message that is so FIERCE it kind of intimidates you and empowers you simultaneously; a refreshing pause from all the sex-related songs on the pop charts.

YOU GO WOMAN!

tonight

This has been on repeat on my ipod, and yes the message it carries is exactly what I feel. Seems like I was born in the wrong era, I would have preferred the romance of the past to now.

teary-eyed from nostalgia

great cover.
Making me miss the good old times.

You're always told to be forward-looking, don't dwell on the past, live in the present and all that crap. I could never live with only the present or bleakness the future...the gleam and colour of the past, I could never live without it. Maybe that's why we reflect so often on what used to make us happy, memories and all...
I've my head up in the clouds sometimes & I enjoy it, the intangible past is something I'll always try to capture.

A Sunday smile.

one of my favorite bands. listen at how beautiful the lead singer's voice is, I think it might be the most beautiful singing voices I've heard so far...and their songs are so much better live. its like food, always better fresh and unprocessed no?

Mmmmm Missoni

Missoni's 2010 fall-winter campaign by Kenneth Anger

starring the entire Missoni clan, somehow i always seem to spot Margherita more often than the others? This is way trippy, also way beautiful, ofcourse.
