so...lately I've been downloading, discovering, youtube-ing, blogging music like there's no tomorrow.
The lowdown on Marina, I've loved her ever since I heard her song Obsessions, she has amazing vocals, reminiscent of Kate Bush (whom I also love + her whimsical dance moves too) I don't think she's had a big success with her previous singles...nowadays if you want to make it big you've really just got to fit that pop mold they want to put you in. She's been feeding the wrong people, her music requires an acquired taste I think. Now she's changed her style into electronic and it is so much more her, so much more original. Obsessed with this song it's been on repeat for the past 4 hours, cannot help but have a one-person party in my bedroom when this comes on.
