prepped for spring

It's spurrrr-ing time folks, and it's time to pull out your preppy cool outfits!

 I've been visiting Trini-g's blog for a while, this blogger always exudes such a simple, nonchalant and (most importantly) effortless preppy coolness that I want to share one of my favorite outfits I found on her blog

Oh yes, I finally decided to wear my suede H&M shorts yesterday, fully equipped to take on the wild city with my brown loafer/moccasins. Channelling the Pocahontas-on-a-Parisian-adventure-vibe. As I can recall Pocahontas was super hot, I really wanted to be her when I was little...who wouldn't want to have a rocking bod, perfect hair, a dashing boyfriend AND the ability to talk to a willow tree? I know I did.
Also one of my favorite bags ever I found this in a vintage store in Bangkok, the owner was such a sweetheart, she had an amuh-zing collection of bags, jewelry and what have you.
(she didn't even want to sell some of the things because she was so attached to them haha they were only on for 'display purposes' but she finally succumbed to my mother's persuasive powers and bargaining mastery!)
Those against fur or leather or any of that sort please don't judge, but that's an entire python on my bag right thur. Which is something I try not to think about when I use this bag.

today's style crush/ inspiration. I really like Karen's style, I didn't know how I felt about creepers until she wore them with such clean lines and such cool nonchalance, inspiring me to do the same! She looks so chic, yet so edgy. Now I must get my hands on a pair...when I'm not broke, that is.

I tried making a coolcat moodboard full of tumblr pictures that were summer themed but failed to make it look nice so I decided to use my own pictures instead...my summer 2010 was magical. I'm longing for summer again

birthday present? Thanks dad.
