Sorry! Haha this photo has nothing to do with the collection except it looks like the perfect mansion for the Meadham Kirchhoff girls from this collection. They'd live here.
Backstage
Psychotic alice in wonderland came out to have a tea party. I'm digging the rainbow coloured hair, socks with shoes and all, the style somehow reminds me of Sasha Pivovarova's personal wardrobe, she dresses like a russian fairy (oversized cardis, loose fitting sequin harem pants, headband, layers and layers... except maybe with a MUCH more muted colour pallette haha) Her version is the wearable SANE version for this style, I don't think I could pull it off...it takes a special person like Sasha to be able to anyways...plus its way too hot down here near the equator where the sun is angrily beaming on us and the humidity makes u feel like a sweaty fish.
She's my favorite model ever, just listening to her talk gets you enamoured by that charm. I'm rambling, the conclusion, I'm loving the collection. This photo montage was created by Tavi... I borrowed it...which makes me feel bad but I'm sure she won't mind. Right?
Actually, I'm thinking this Meadham Kirchhoff collection is also very close to Tavi Gevinson's personal style...comfortable, whimsical, soft and edgy. I'm thinking maybe it was maybe even inspired by her...hmm. Let's have a little Tavi montage, because 1. I love her without even knowing her, in the least creepiest way I promise. 2. Her style, is a refreshing breath of air from everything else I see, makes me happy that people are their own and that individuality is celebrated. Fashion and trends make it too easy to be sucked into that 'trend' vortex where you MUST wear this season's must-haves from head to toe or you're just not cool enough. NO. that isn't the case, Tavi proves me right!
HELLO, sorry for the extremely long post... I really try to keep it brief most times. THANKS if you read all this, I love you for being interested.
