I think black and white photography and cinematography still has the capability of producing intense and even more powerful emotion than images in colour sometimes. A good black and white picture is timeless and can creates much more of a statement (also dependent on the skill of the photographer & the elements ofcourse) you know sometimes you don't always need colour for imagination.
